Our Spring Issue has been out for a couple of weeks now and we have enjoyed seeing copies landing with subscribers near and far. The good news is that Issue 16 is now digital so it is even easier to take your Pom Pom and your projects on the road!
We are starting to see a few other signs of spring here in London too, the daffodils appearing and extra hours of daylight we are enjoying signify that spring is upon us, which also means it is time to get on the road for our first show of the year, unravel at Farnham Maltings! This will be our fourth time exhibiting at unravel and this year holds special significance as it will be our first show in our new capacity as the Pom Pom Press.
You may have seen our super exciting announcement last month that we are publishing the Interpretations series of collections by none other than Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki! We will be officially launching the books at unravel, and Veera is joining us all the way from Finland for a very special live recording of the Pomcast with Veera as our guest!
If you are heading to the festival then be sure to stop by our stand in the Great Hall, where we will be in good company, as our neighbours include the lovely Textile Garden, The Little Grey Sheep, and CoopKnits. We’ll have Issues 9 through 16 of the magazine, a selection of samples, including all the pretty natural beauties from the new issue, prints and project pouches, and not forgetting our new books! We will have copies of the first book we published, Take Heart, by Fiona Alice (another of our lovely stand neighbours) and all 3 volumes of Interpretations. Veera will be joining us on the Pom Pom stand on Saturday from 3pm to sign books and show samples from the Interpretations series. You can check out the rest of the unravel marketplace line up here and further event information and Pomcast Special details via the links below.
