It’s here! Say hello to Interpretations Volume 4! We’re delighted to be presenting the next in this series of patterns by friends Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki
As with the past three books, Volume 4 took six words as its starting point, which each designer has translated to create their own narrative for the patterns. Volume 4 sees Joji and Veera step outside their comfort zone, making bolder colour choices and experimenting with new yarns, while still staying true to their signature styles.
The whole collection was captured by photographer Jonna Jolkin in the same location as Volume 2, Veera’s native Finland. The duo said that the ease they felt on returning to this familiar location allowed the designs “to really shine and sparkle“. After seeing the particularly magical shots taken at midnight during a midsummer evening, we have to agree!
You can browse all the stunning patterns from Volume Four here.
We’ll be officially launching Volume 4 this weekend at unravel and if you’re joining us you’ll also be one of the first to see all the samples from this latest collection! But don’t worry if you can’t make it to Farnham this weekend, you can pre-order your copy here. Volume One, Two and the previously out of stock Volume Three are also available to purchase online and at unravel. Please note pre-orders and additional books purchased will be shipped from Wednesday 22nd February.
Join in all the fun on the Interpretations Ravelry group where you can share your projects.
Make sure you grab your Volume 4 copy quickly as copies of Volume 3 certainly moved fast this time last year! The Interpretations series are available from your local yarn store too.
