Pom Pom Press: Interpretations Volume 3Today is the day! For the very first time, our friends Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki’s pattern collections Interpretations are available in print! Today also happens to be the very first day you can lay your eyes on their brand new 3rd volume – which, in our new incarnation as the Pom Pom Press – we have also published in a beautifully printed and bound book.

We’ve come to know Joji and Veera over the years (Joji has even contributed to Pom Pom Quarterly twice!) and we couldn’t think of nicer or more talented people to work with. We were as excited to add their names to the Pom Pom roster as they were to see their Interpretations collections in print, so it was a match made in heaven!

Each volume features 12 garment and accessory patterns using yarns from some of our favourite yarn producers including MadelineTosh, The Uncommon Thread, Malabrigo, Shibui Knits, SweetGeorgia, Baah! Yarn, and Neighborhood Fiber Co. to name just a few!

Pom Pom Press: Interpretations

As with all Pom Pom publications it’s printed in London on 100% FSC certified uncoated paper. Each volume is a lovely laminated softcover and is the same dimensions as Pom Pom Quarterly so that your collection looks lovely on your bookshelves!

The first two volumes of Interpretations have been nothing less that instant classics, and we think you’ll find that Volume 3 also does not disappoint!

You can view more images of the patterns from each volume (and purchase your very own!) here:
Volume 1 | Volume 2 | Volume 3

Be sure to also join the Interpretations group on Ravelry where there will be lots of fun chatter and maybe even a KAL or two where you can share your projects from the books.

We hope you all are as excited as we are to see these two lovely ladies’ designs together in print. We know these special books are destined to become collectors items, so you’ll want to grab yours quickly! Copies of the books will also be available in local yarn stores very soon.

Happy knitting!
