As it is Friday and only 12 days until Christmas we thought what better way to look forward to the weekend and Christmas get togethers than with a little look back at the fun we had at the PPQ Christmas Party last weekend.
Thanks to all those who came and joined us for an evening of knitting and yarn stroking set to a back drop of music from the amazing Theo Bard.
Whilst Theo kicked off the evening, knitters were able to indulge in a bit of Christmas Shopping in the Pop up Indie Yarn Market.
Amid the lively music and yummy cocktails there was plenty of catching up with knitting friends old and new, and the WIPs came out, including a sprinkling of Pom Pom projects that we spotted on the go!
After several Ginchellos, some grazing of the cheese boards and a few rows of knitting it was time for the eagerly anticipated Raffle Draw.
Here is a little glimpse of some of the special prizes we had up for grabs.
Thank you to YAK, Eden Cottage Yarns, unravel, Edinburgh Yarn Festival, Erika Knight, Blacker Yarns, Sincerely Louise, Fiona Alice, MillaMia, The Golden Skein, Cirilia Rose, Yarn in the City and the PPQ market stands for gifting their wares.
Thank you also to TOFT who contributed some their wintry accessory patterns for our door prizes which also included candy canes and the Pom Pom Christmas Badge!
We have a small number of our Pom Pom party badges available to purchase from the shop here (until 19 December only) so if you missed out on the party you can pick yourself up a little bit of festive Pom Pom memorabilia!
Thanks again to everyone who joined us, we hope you had a great time, and we can’t wait for more yarn loving, fun times in the New Year!
