Hello!

We start this episode with a recap of our fun activities, how lucky we are now things have opened up a bit more! While Lydia has been enjoying the cultural delights of Paula Rego and Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Sophie had an exciting visit to the Chelsea Flower Show and marvelled at the beautiful displays.

Pom News

We’ve been singing its praises, the Issue 39 previews are now live! Our winter issue is inspired by rhythm and you can see the fantastic interpretations on our blog or on Ravelry.

Of course this issue is packed with must-make designs! Lydia is particularly excited about the cover star, Polyrhythm, and we discuss toast topping-inspired colour combinations! Also on her list is the bobble-tastic Pink Noise (pictured below), while Sophie is feeling the crochet cardigan Rockmore and the beautiful weaving pattern of Semitone.

Don’t forget you can pre-order or subscribe to ensure you’re one of the first people to have Issue 39 arriving at your door!

What are we excited about?

Fresh off the needles is Sophie’s Saknes, so she’s enjoying swatching for the Silvatica scarf from Issue 38! Meanwhile Lydia has finished Elowen from Ready Set Raglan using the Sandnes Garn Børstet Alpakka, and is excited about her new fav podcast City Arts and Lectures, especially the episode with Samin Nosrat and Lindy West.

Thanks for listening! Remember you can keep in touch with us and other Pomcast listeners via our Ravelry forum here, and you can send us your musings via email (podcast@pompommag.com).
