Free Pattern: Hortus Scarf by Emma Price

By now many of you have been caught up in the excitement of planning and casting on new projects from our Autumn issue and here is one more to add to your list, our latest free pattern Hortus.

Designed by Emma Price of In the Wool Shed, Hortus is your classic go-to unisex scarf pattern. When we started putting together all those beautiful natural hues for Issue 18, we knew you crafty bunch would be itching to have a go yourself. So Emma designed Hortus to accompany her dyeing tutorial in the autumn issue. Knit your own blank canvas to combine the magic of ombré and dye powers of rhubarb!

Emma chose the luster of pure Blue Faced Leicester as the starting point for her scarf, why not use this as a chance to explore a new breed or fiber blend?

With a few basic tools and a little know how from Issue 18, we can't wait to see the colourful versions of Hortus that you will make. Of course you'll need the pattern first, so download your copy of the Hortus Scarf here. Happy Knitting!

xx Pom Pom
